which one is better when it comes to sound and performance?

R-A-Y

Performance shouldn't be that much different

Sounds, I'd go for HKS  havinga deeper and fuller sound.

BTW, for what car?

kbh

yep i like the sound of hks compared to blitz but it depends rin sa car application..

one time i heard a subraru sti on idle with blitz i didnt like the sound at all.. tunog lata siya at low rpm but when the turbos kicked in it sounded a big bike...

hks naman is a nice sounding muffler at thought out the rpms.. deep and full sound just like what ray said...

as to performance they should be in the same level..

for Civic EK, I would recommend a HKS hi-power, with 2.25" (around 60mm) piping. -KBR

for the EVO, its a tie between the HKS & the BLITZ. but I would go for the HKS Carbon Ti full cat back system for the EVO. coz its lighter than the Blitz Nur-Spec and it sounds a little better. also, the HP & TQ rating on the HKS is a little higher than the Blitz. specially from 3K rpms to 7K rpms. aite, peace! -KBR

how inches ang pipe diameter from the downpipe? btw, if you will throw in a Garrett GT35R turbo on an Evo and boost to 33PSI above, will a 3" exhaust system do or will u have to go with a 3.5" turbo-back like the one of APS? just for my info.

mond! ang kulit mo ah..

hehe.. i like my exhaust.. it isnt that known, but its called Buschur Racing, its very light, one of the lightest TBE in the market for evos. straight pipe to the back. got it for $750 shipped. so cheap compared to the branded ones.

exhaust sounds soooo sweet... at low rpms, it isnt that loud, and its at a low frequency, but at WOT, then it just SCREAMMMZZ..

i got a 3" from the front to the back.

the HKS titanium though is SO freakin loud... not really my type.

are you sure you want to boost above 33psi??? hope that yer not going to leave the internals stock. anywayz, go for the 3.5" turbo back system. -KBR

erm, i thought you had a nissan? why are you asking about the evo?

for that amount of boost, bigger is probably better.
