Have any of you experienced leaking with your evercool radiators? I just did. Gusto ko lang malaman kung madalas ba itong mangyari.

so far no problems with evercool radiator in one of our cars. been 2 years already. baka there are other problems with your cooling system that led to the leaking of your radiator.

Did you fill your cooling system with a 50-50 mixture of coolant and water?

Yup. 50/50 Prestone coolant and water. The strange thing is, nagkaroon ng leak after I switched from pure water to the 50/50 mix. Related ba yun?

Slightly OT: My heater valve (the thing that lets water into the heater core) got busted. Spewed coolant all over the engine bay. Muntik na akong mag-overheat. Niremedyohan ko para makauwi by looping the hose and bypassing the heater core. Ok lang kaya yun?

So now, the leaking radiator is the least of my worries. May warranty naman kasi as Speedifix mentioned. Hassle nga lang na magtanggal-kabit ng radiator.

OT: where can you purchase evercool radiators?  And how much is one for let's say an '89 Lancer GLX?

Got it from JWR Motor Supply in Binondo. Number is 244-0044. Give them a call.

Nope. There is a pinhole in one of the fins/rows in the bottom where it meets the tank. Saw coolant leaking and washed it with water to make sure, baka kako splash lang. Came back and may coolant ulit. Does not happen when the motor is cool/system is not pressurized.

return it or try to claim the warranty if it's still good.  :)

Any other dealers located in the south?  And what is the price range for these?
