what do you guys think of the chrysler 300c? it comes in 2 versions which i have recently inquired at CATS motors along EDSA.

first is the touring model 3.5L, it goes out for 2.65M, the other one is the HEMI v8 5.7L (MONSTER ENGINE), goes out for 3.25M (around 5.7 seconds 0-60mph)

this is my next goal, and get it within the next 6-12 month, depending on business, and how much laziness i avoid..

i test drove it last wednesday, it was a silver one around 4pm. we went around edsa, then greenhills, then at annapolis.

it was somewhat traffic at annapolis, and almost everyone on the incomming traffic was looking at the car, truly a headturner. i love it so much.

the sounds had upgraded boston acousic speakers. i think the front kickpanels were 9", and they were hitting very LOW. the rearview mirror was already shaking with FM radio.

and one last thing, what are your opinions on 22" rims on this car on both the 3.5L version and the 5.7L version. having in mind its power, wouth it be worth going 5.7 on the 0-60mph with the 22", lets say for example in edsa (madami pa lubak sa edsa). and if it were the 3.5L, the brakes are somewhat smaller..

here are a couple pics for your satisfaction.

stock srt8 20" rims (the only 20" that i like):

this is one of my dream cars. this is the only philippine domestic market car that exudes the vibe that "yes, i have arrived". mercs, bimmers are common. but the massive presence of the 300c gives you that hypermasculine aura but in a sublte, tamed and classy way. riding this at 120 kph is a pleasure. but the other way to ride this as at a low speed of 10kph, in traffic, and let people grow green with envy. people who buy the 300c know what they want and get what they want.

pero for its price kasi e even if you get the hemi version, its still cheaper than the 3 series and the c class plus mas may dating to ! just put in the right mags and your set na hehe 3m for this is really a bargain :)

hello chris!

i think if were to sum up this car, it'd be value for money... even though the philippine version sports a 3.5 it still kicks when i step on the pedal.

it's got the chassis of the previous e-class and a mistu engine. but for me everything feels right in place...

yes there is that certain bling factor. even at stock mode, i'm very satisfied (of course if someone would donate dubs, i'm more than happy to oblige) hehe

anyways guys let's welcome chris! he is from cali and resides in the phils as of the moment... nice guy!

bro i'm not so sure where the subs are placed but i'll look for them hehehe

there are also nice variants such as the srt-8 and even the dodge magnum and charger. my mom is also very happy with the car.

haha, bring it to admu and impress the ladies!

srt8 is too expensive na, and i dont think i need that much power. magnum and charger arent as nice as the 300c exterior-wise. i like the rims though on the srt8/

daymn, 300C in the PI. astig. just put 24" Giovanna's and yer set! BUT.... watch out when you reach 40K to 60K miles. since doon na lalabas ang walang katapusan na mga problema. (its still an american car, walang reliability.) pero, in a way malupit din since its a RWD car. lagi kong nakikita yan sa mga side shows sa Oakland. my fellow cuddy's love's to do doughnuts! -KBR

rarely saw them with 24s"... 22" would be the max for me..

about the problems, the base version 2.x liter, yun madaming problema, but the 3.5L and UP are good! 300c was awarded for i think the best car of the year for 2005 I THINK.
