Since I have a very limited budget for my car's painting, do auto body shops accept painting of per panel? for example, pinto muna, then hood, fender, until unti-unting matapos.

Thanks for the replies.

of course they do... but the total cost will be a lot higher though...

For example, typical shops charge 3K/panel (assuming 2K paint, no damage/rust)... so kung buong oto (roof, hood, 2 fender, 4 doors, trunk, 2 bumpers, 2 rear quarterpanels, and misc parts like sidemirror, mudguards etc) That'll equate to roughly 13-15 panels...

That'll land you 39-45K compared to 25-30K kung buo na agad.

There's also the issue of the paint not matching... Not really on the color, but on the finish (orange peel level, paint thickness - which affects shading for some colors, etc.)

Ako balak ko din 2 bumpers muna papatira ko, sobrang tuklap na kasi hehe.

its better to save up na lang for a real washover/repaint. at least there would be less chances of mismatched color on body panels. that's also my plan.

bumper lang talaga exception, kasi bihira talaga magmamatch perfectly ang plastic panel sa metal panel, iba ang may expanding agent eh.

Im having my car painted at zinngoy right now and i cant wait to see the finish product. Try to save money para lahatan na. baka kasi pangit tingnan kapag panel per panel hindi pantay magiging color kapag hindi pa tapos.
