there's nothing wrong with that as long as you meticulously check the vehicle. it'd help if you can bring a friend mechanic with you along :) goodluck with that!

yeah, someone from honda was selling a 2nd hand crv samin before. they said most of the cars that the casa are selling are used as company cars.  :)

pag casa meron pa warranty sa kanila, cguro 6mos. basta tawaran mo and yun nga magsama ka rin ng mechanic.
if you want it perfect- DIY. or call on the expert.

and/or ex-media test drive units.

Check the unit first before buying.

I bought an expy and E150 from a ford dealer two years ago.

Thinking that a used unit would not be sold by a casa unless it was in good condition, I bought the vehicles without checking thoroughly.

As it turned out, the 99 expy (35k mileage) had rust all over and had a malfunctioning air suspension system.  The tires which were subject to recall were still the ones in the vehicle.  The brake pads or whats left of them were grinding against the rotors. I spent a great deal of money restoring the supposed to be A1 condition expy.

The E150's (10k) mileageinterior squeaked all over with the plastic parts on the doors and sidings rubbing against something.  The paint had overspray and it seems it was just repaired.  The coil spring on front / left side gave way after two months of use, and waiting time for the part reached three weeks. I sold it after six months.

If media cars, DOUBLE CHECK!

Binastos yan way before break-in.

If I drove it, check the suspension na rin HAHA

What assurance do you get that the one available from the Casa wasn't for hire too?

Bro, just a tip. Check mo series ng plate # at year model or first acquisition nung adve. Tapos inspect mo yung apperance especially yung kaha, makikita mo yung mukhang ipinampasada eh medyo laspag at mukhang luma agad. Pwede mo rin tignan mileage pero minsan kasi nata-tamper yun. Overall appearance speaks a thousand words. Tsaka nga pala mas maganda sa casa if mabibigyan ka ng warranty.

"binastos" seems too strong to describe it, at least just let me add the quotation marks. remember that some media personnels' job is to test the limits of the cars, whether its a ferrari on the track, a land rover on whatever imaginable surface, or in this case, if they are long term vehicles, their durability. they don't simply refrain from taking care in handling it because its not theirs, but to test the build quality. some magazines actually outline the intentional abuse they subject the car to. :D

still, if the casa won't offer warranty service like they would a totally brand new car, think twice. in hte US the CPO's I think are given the same warranty as brand new, or at least competitive enough to make you think they actually did the 30,000pt (or so) inspection on it.

mas maganda kung may kilala ka nagbebenta...pero kung sa casa my warranty sya. just check the overall appearance and pop that hood...go with somebody who knows a lot about cars. if they don't give you any warranty beware...

somehow i don't trust those dealers from casa. most of them are just after your money.

company cars? i had three over the past 5 years. i always tend to abuse it.  ;D. it's not mine so why would i take care of it. haha ;) that's why my 2000 SiR is still in prestine condition even if it's mid-mild modified.

he has a point about company cars not being treated well by employees
