I am!

I don't have the money for it though!

hehe

Calling FlyLo and Brent!

:)

You can't go wrong with Canon if you are starting with no lenses. I find the picture quality of Canon real good.

Nikon is nice but the local distributer isn't as organized as Canon's.

what i have is a Konica Minolta Dyanx 5D, although KM have already stop production in the 1st quarter of this year, 2006, sony will be using KM's technology to produce their DSLRs. I think nag merge sila and sony also have support service for KM. :)

i'd like to be into it also...right now i have a very basic cybershot but i'm always reading thru the net on how to optimize its use & capabilities...i learned of one photographer who uses a very basic camera also but takes great photos out of it...

for the waterproof casings, sony has a lot of it & it caters not only to D/SLRs but as far as i know can be used for point & shoot cameras as well...

Juergen!

So far I know Canon DSLRs and Point-and-Shoot cams produce great quality pictures!

For underwater casings, I know Canon has a lot being sold in Singapore.

I have a Sony T-7 with an underwater casing which I was able to purchase here for 6k+. OK gamitin underwater! Sulit!

Just one lens lang? I was hoping that you have more lens.. hehehe

Nikkon and the Canon are the ones most famous and sought after in the market.

any comments on CANON S3 IS?  or CANON S2 IS?

Im considering this cam. dSLR..

canon s2 is is a good buy for a semi-pro cam. it has good feature like the color swap, faster processor, has an image stabilizer and the storage media is an sd card so its not that expensive compare to sony's memory sticks. same with s3 is but there is not much difference between the two :)

R-A-Y

How bout some samples of pics people have taken? :D Even point and shoot camera pics are welcome here :D

takumi

I'm starting to get hooked to it. Just got a 350d and cait wait until it gets delivered.  ;D Now I need to save up for more memory, filters, lenses....

The S2is and S3 are both good. According to the reviews the difference aren't much so upgrading from the S2 to the S3 is not worth it but if you are considering between S2 and S3, go for the S3.
