what do you guys think of a minolta-konica dslr's?

do they have a local service center?

http://ca.konicaminolta.com/products/consumer/digital_camera/dimage/index.html

thanks!

I don't think there's local support for Konica Minolta DSLRs. Plus there's also the Sony hostile takeover factor. The new Sony Alpha One is the new successor of the KM DSLRs.

thanks brent. the reason i ask is because a friend from singapore is offering me his slightly used km dslr. he spent about php.80t but he is willing to sell it to me at php.40t. he said he plans to upgrade and that the km lenses are more expensive vs. canon. he plans to get a canon dslr.

hmm... yeah. maybe ill just buy a basic canon dslr and upgrade it later on.

thanks!

sixpack

I prefer nikon due to its lens compatibility, and standard image sensor, unlike canon uses different sensor size.

Wow! Congrats on your new photo gear. Nice shots. Now you start to feel the burn with the lenses... hehehe.
