hi all. is there a way to add a set of front map lights in your car?

like the ones you find on the ceiling near the rear view mirror, in the nice sedans like the camry and accord, because the lower end cars usually have a dome light lang in the middle.

i was wondering if i could buy that map light thingy somewhere (maybe sa casa kasi maganda yung build quality) then have a shop install it sa harap?

wacha think?

totally possible and it's been done before. no need to go sa casa to get map lights, just go and look for a good map light sa surplus stores.

for what car? AFAIK toyota casa has one.

Log-on to www.grupotoyota.com.ph, search for the thread about it, andun iyong part number nung map light. I'm not sure of the price, but AFAIK below 1,000 petot yata.

dude..... i love you man!!!! thanks!! woohoo!!!! YEAH!!!  ;D
down boy!  ;D

since you mentioned you were looking around in alabang, you must be from the south. you can go visit toyota alabang, present the part number and have it ordered. you're gonna have to make a deposit tho, coz they're gonna have to order it from the Toyota plant in Laguna. for installation, you can go visit Roadstar Alabang in Motortown and look for Lorenz. He'll know what to do with it.
