Hi everyone! I am planning to buy a used car. Since this is my first time to own a car, i would like to seek for your guidance. May i know your thoughts lang po sana.

Important to check in buying used car?

Stock or Loaded ( customized)?

advantages and disadvantages of auto and manual?

good mileage average for 1997 model?

2.0 or 1.6 ? malakas po ba talaga sa consume ang 2.0?

As of now I am confused to 95 HONDA ESI Fully loaded; 97 VTI stock/ fully load; 97 ACCORD; 97 MIT GSR stock / fully loaded.

I hope you can help me to so i can decide.

Salamat po.

personally, i like the mits gsr, but like medicine, what may work for me may not necessariliy work for you. it totally depends on you and your needs. personally, i'd love cars in stock form.
two reasons:
1.) easier maintenance since i don't have to raid every aftermarket specialist in town for repairs
2.) if i were to soup up my car, i'd rather decide on which component would go in or not.

wish i had your dilemna...

the cerebral choice would be the civic for it would have good fuel mileage figures

mine would be the GSR

the Accord, well, its up to you if you can live with the consumption.

regarding fuel economy, for most part, 2.0L engines are thirstier in stop and go traffic but work best in long stretched of open road. for city driving, i'd rather stick with a 1.6

manual tranny would be my choice..i never had a thing for auto trannies except cvt.

It would help also if you can state a budget range :)

get the car in stock para at least you'll have the satisfaction of customizing your ride to your own taste. though its not bad kung medyo loaded na rin. baka pareho kayo ng styling nung owner.
masarap ang auto trannies pag-traffic as compared to manual. though generally, no one likes to be stuck in traffic. and starting from a steep incline is never a problem. one thing i don't like about matics is you can't push-start them, say, if you had a weak battery. sa manual, you can control the engine much better. wala pa akong experience on cars equipped with sportmatic trannies.
okay ang GSR, pang-binata sa palagay ko. sa ESI, you get the best of both worlds, good looks and puwede na ring a car for a start-up family. IMHO ko lang naman lahat to.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving is not for you.

hmmm i beg to disagree :) i think ok naman pormahan ang cefiro e ... the cefiro that i am talking about is the current body parin a pero the first release? elite ata yun e  .... tamang rims lang etc kaya naman e :) luxurious pa tignan :) pero mas madali talaga pormahan yung civic sympre hehe :)

nissan - malamig aircon

mitsubishi - ok. yung lang alam ko

can you compare naman po kasi as of now parang honda lang talaga ang maganda sa akin.

and if ever na honda kasi bibilhin ko parang gusto ko yun 95 esi or 97 vti. kaya lang pag vti bka wala na matira sa pang modify ko; unlike sa esi pwede pa pero parang msyado na luma.

sir i hope u can enlight me.

salamat po ulit.

gapdiaz

para sa kin 95 ESI.

If we compare 95 esi sa 97 vti its pretty obvious na mas old model yung esi but pag napasetupan mo ng maganda ang esi ewan ko lang kung magmukha pa syang luma ;D

Parang sa Fast and the Furios I yung 3 black HONDA dun diba ESI yun? ???

gapdiaz

add ko lang If you want may nakita akong bilihan ng mga 2nd hand cars dito sa Pasong Tamo St cor Vito Cruz Ext Makati.

Sa budget mong 250K sigurado makakahanap ka na gusto mong ride ;D
