I remember my 1994 Galant VR had a claimed coefficient of drag of only 0.29.

i have the perfect urban myth: if you make love inside your car (girl or another guy, your choice! haha), youll bring every kind of badluck imaginable.

thats why i always go.. my place or your place? hahaha

Mmm ..... in supplement to this myth ... someone told me not to use your own car when going to motels. coz the car would slowly go *bonker*. Malas daw kasi ...

Hmm .......  ;D Malas siguro if you're caught cheating! then your legit partner would give you tons of *bonk* sa head mo hehehehe ... Bukol Galore

i think i almost had that experience. i went to a motel in manila - with my legit gf of course (in pasig..and you know how theyre all over the hills). On our way back, the tie rod end broke and were stranded. i was thankful it was on the road and not IN the motel! how the heck am i supposed to push the car upwards? my mom could have found out.. then my dad.. then her parents

got this burning question that i've been meaning to ask. i've read somewhere that its better to gas up in the evening or early in the morning coz fuel tend to be denser at cooler temperatures. is this true or another myth?

It's true.

garuda32

its not true. gas is stored several feet underground. because of this the temperature of the gas hardly varies due to the insulating effect of 5 feet of dirt and concrete.
shhh they are listening

A quick google search turns up dozens of results from reputable sources such as universities, US government websites, etc. that all claim this myth to be true.  ::)  :violent1:

At 5ft under the earth's surface the temperature still varies enough for gasoline to take on different densities.

however, given all that, i stopped caring. i still feel screwed at the pump regardless what time i go

pag nagpagas ka kahit malamig in the morning pag noon na mainit na naman so parang ganun rin. well i don't think it matters it all depends on the driver

blackrolla

Manga

lam ko lang mas nagvevaporize ang gas kapag mainit. although parang insignificant yung volume of loss ng vapor.. or is it? :lurk:

it depends if pump prices increased at 10:00am. your bill should be the same. :)

I always practice refueling before i get home at night. ;)
