Oil experts I need ur help.

Is is possible to get a "negative" reaction upon adding a new type of oil into existing oil?

Say for example adding Motul Gear FF-LSD Type 2 oil 75w90(synthetic complex ester) into existing transmission gear lets just say of ordinary grade.

Will I get negative effects on the tranny or none naman?

Thank you!

You'll be wasting the Gear FF LSD Type-2 you'll be pouring in your tranny. Better to drain everything out before pouring in the new gear oil.

speedyfix

yep better to drain full before mixing.

I get ur point.

The scenario kase is, below normal level yung oil. May natapon lang, nung ginalaw namin yung tranny.

I have some Motul FF leftover from the other car, I was wondering if its okay na ipang-dagdag ko sa normal grade tranny oil which Honda casa uses.

TIA.

Honda engine oil good for helical LSD or non-LSD tranny.

You can put that Motul oil in but, like the others say, you're just wasting money.

I think, correct me if I'm wrong, the Motul LSD oil is for clutch type or viscous type of LSD?  OTherwise, if it's stock tranny lang, Honda engine oil is fine

There is no dishonor in losing the race. There is

speedyfix

if the car is not lsd equipped it will shift better with thinner engine oil lang.
