fire resistance would be nice to have, but it is kinda expensive. and i have to admit, medyo mahihiya ako to wear those (pro racing shoes) for our occational trackdays and funruns. seeing as hindi nga ako pro...

IMO, good racing -style shoes (adidas, puma, fila, bunker, springfield, etc) or your fave comfy sneakers will do... ;)

personally, i prefer the racing-style ones coz even if they arent fire resistant, they have the right feel and the reinforcements are where they should be ( back of heel and outer side of foot)

you can race with any snug flat soled rubber shoe. unless you're a pro there's no need to invest in sparco or OMP.

I have red Adidas Monaco edition racing shoes (gift).  Honestly...they don't feel so comfy..it has good ankle support pero medyo matigas in my opinion...feels like you're wearing hi-tec (trekking boots).

whatever feels comfy.. my first pair of driving shoes were those LA Gear walking shoes for women!  super sarap ng feel.  the sole was softer than the soles of racing shoes and with heel support.  akala ko nga nung una racing shoes eh.

i dont know why my posts keep getting deleted... but ill still continue to post... pinaka maganda para sakin is yung addidas na goodyear shoes or yung nike na kungfu shoes... or the puma na black and white ones.
