just went to the shop to have something repaired when the shop manager introduced a cabin filter from bosch. he later showed me where it was to placed.. and he showed that there is a built-in partition already to put the cabin filter.. no modification na kailangan.. in short, kabit na lang dun...

bakit kaya di na kasama as standard accessory ang cabin filter sa crv and other cars..? wala din naman sinabi ang casa about it...

what's your 2cents?

Sir,

pupuwede ba palagyan kahit mga lumang sasakyan like my 89 corolla? I hate the smell of exhaust fumes going inside the cabin ....

i think  new cars should have them as standard. i dunno with other cars but on our jazz and xtrail, there's a cabin filter.

ment,
pwede mag DIY for older cars. im using an a/c filter (for home a/c units) on my A32. i'd rather replace the filter every few months or so than having it serviced every two years. its cheaper.  ;D

btw, fumes entering your cabin is caused by an air leak somewhere. have it checked agad.

Wala nga. Yung sakin (civic) wala din e. Bumili pa ako para magkaroon. May kamahalan din. Ang pagkakatanda ko around P2,500. Mga P1,250 per piece, 2 pieces ang pang honda civic and CRV.

I checked our CRV wala ring nakalagay!!!

Just imagine how much money they have to spend by making it standard equipment, they have a hard time passing the cost to the consumer and if they sell it as an option, dagdag sa kita nila.

i dunno ha, pero come to think of it, adding a cabin filter to a vehicle would mean less aircon repairs/service, less revenue for them.  :o

as per my experience with a nissan casa, they don't even bother to check/clean/wash the cabin filter. i hope they're not waiting for our a/c unit to conk out after the warranty expires.

Yes. For higher models like Camry and RAV4. For the Vios and Altis it is an after market part. The IMV models dont have cabin filter yet. Toyota cabin filters are made by Denso.
