btw, in case you guys hadn't noticed: Williams and Super Aguri outdid their respective engine suppliers' teams in the Spanish GP.  ::) ;D

Oh boy, the Honda and Toyota team managers are in big trouble.  I think both are replacing or have replaced their team managers na.  Kudos for Sato for getting in the points.  But that's still a long way off since 2004 or 2005 when he got a few points for BAR Honda.  I wonder what's happening to them ...maybe the Japs and the Europeans are not communicating too well.  ;)

YEY!  ;D its a Mclaren 1-2 again monaco gp!  ;D

e36boy

go mclaren! too bad talaga for kimi. Funny that hamilton keeps kissing the barriers but the car is still intact. Lapping up to 4th place was a feat in a very narrow track.

DTNS

I don't know if its just a coincedence, but Kimi doesnt seem to finish well in the races where M Schumacher watched the race live. (example: Monaco and Spain) ::) :P

Probably trying too hard to show he's better, which worked the opposite way.

Uh oh, I just heard Mclaren is under investigation for rules infringement during the Monaco GP.  Anyyone know more about this?

It's about "unsportsmanlike team orders". The drivers were told to maintain position and take it easy in the closing part of the race.

OK, I read more about it.  I think it's so unfair to McLaren.  Nobody thought that Hamilton had "let Alonso win" the same way Barichello slowed down to let Schumi win before.  I wonder why F1 would only raise the issue now when, afaik, race protests have to be filed within 30 minutes after the race?  It's a slap at Ron Dennis' face accusing him of willfully violating the rules.  He was perfectly right in ordering Hamilton to hold his position behind Alonso.  If he went ahead and pressured Alonso, Alonso would have had to go on the defensive.  That will slow both of them down and allow Massa to catch up.  If Hamilton attempted a pass, both McLaren's might have been damaged.  Monaco is not a track you can easily pass.  McLaren was right in their race tactics.  The F1 organizers should have handled this privately.

such dominance.. is this the mclaren mercedes age?

ferrari was totally outclassed.

well, every race is diffrent, maybe next time it wouldnt be so embarrassing for the other teams. but jeez, almost lapping massa?? that says a lot

qnz_78

its tough to say but during the australian and spanish GP it seemed impossible for mclaren to catch up with ferrari that time.  For me Kimi just got to get his game back on, still to early to say who will dominate

mr.blacktop

imo hamilton is better than alonso on some of the races this season, he even broke some of f1's record, if he's given a chance(disregarding team orders) he can be this years f1 champion...

Ferrari is in a "rebuilding" year with the departure of Ross Brawn and M Schumacher. I'm sure they'll catch up with McLaren soon.

oh, and I really think that Kimi has got to get his act together. it seems that the tides have switched for Ferrari and McLaren. now Ferrari is playing catch-up while McLaren is the dominant force.

and what of the double world champions, Renault? they seem to have been hurt the most by the switch to Bridgestones.  :P

I agree.  You can hardly say that Ferrari is outclassed yet.  I think they have one of the best cars and engineers.  Besides, Monaco is unique in the F1 circuit.

But I think Alonso and Hamilton are the best drivers.  I really like their attitude.  They work as a team.  There doesn't seem to be any personal conflicts in the team.  They have everything going for them and they are putting it to good use.

Ferrari's got a problem.  1st, they are coming down from a high of the Schumi/Ross Brawn era.  Then, there is probably so much tension in their paddock.  Lastly, their supposedly #1 driver, Kimi got a serious attitude problem.  Check this out...

you're right pal. maganda ang takbo ni Alonso at may mga errors si Hamilton tulad ng pagtama nya sa mga rails. Alonso deserves the win.

;Dwaiting now for the first win of Hamilton ;D
