Most probably the ATF is not compatible that causes the shudder. what ATF was used?

wrap3pull2

I doubt it's the kind of oil...ATF is ATF so long as it meets the factory specs, use the cheapest one you can find, change it every year and don't waste your money.

Most likely the problem is there's a leak in the torque converter seal so there's not enough oil in the TC.  Unless you know a good mechanic, I'd bring it to the casa to have it looked at.

Check your parking space if there are oil leaks cuz maybe it's from your A/T.

Sir accord gtr... wala namang leak sa parking... salamat sa reply

baka tranny mount mo sira na or any of your engine mounts

-jason-

have you replaced the tranny support? if you haven't then its probably busted. afaik its the hydraulic type for a/t accords.

another possibility is a dirty t/b.

wrap3pull2

nope its different. the OEM tranny support for a/t accords are kinda pricey though.

There was a case in MAZDA of auto transmission shudder. 3 measures were done- 2 "overhauls" and 1 brand new replacement however the problem was still there.

Engineers from the "plant" took participation on these measures and found that the unit is electronically and mechanically in good shape-- that made their heads turn and made it a little close to panic.  Little they've known that the cause of the shudder was because of the CHEAP OIL YOU ARE FOND OF RECOMMENDING.

still we cannot discount these causes, but in reference to the title, I have to check out your worries regarding your ATF change.

I love MOTUL.   I inquired in the motul site about tranny oil for BMWs, turns out that your ATF-1A is best on my ZF5HP19 tranny.

funny thing is, ATF-1A is 'designed for japanese' transmissions. ;)

@wrap3pull2

Better also look into the quality of the ATF you've got.

@ Accord:

I'm sure you don't want to see LEAKS near your parking space. :P

I think they won cuz of the driver, not the oil.  ;D

..

wrap3pull2

It's funny you'll blame the oil right away and bash others who don't agree with you.  Funny too how you'll say anything to justify yourself, including implying that Honda's have the same problems as Mazda's.  Funny too how you'll call other brands cheap, implying yours is expensive.

I never thought the Motul brand needed such a hard-sell like you and Motul_fan keep pushing on this forum.
