Subic Tarmac Rally?

Anyone got more details on this?  I know there's a rally going on this Feb, March and even April I think.  If I'm not mistaken its 2 races a month.

I was there just this past weekend, saw a bunch of modified cars grouped together in the road leading to Ocean Adventure. I thought it was a hillclimb pero tarmac rally pala, it actually looks very very interesting...

General Conditions
                                        Fees:
1. Club membership fee      :                 PhP    750.00
2. Entry fee per event (for members)   :                 PhP 1,500.00
3. Entry fee per event (for non-members):           PhP 2,000.00

Note:    Only a maximum of three (3) drivers per car will be
    allowed. 

ELIGIBLE DRIVERS
A driver must possess a current civil drivers    license issued by the Land Transportation Office (LTO).


SURVEY OF THE RALLYE COURSE
An organized practice/convoy will be arranged prior to official runs.

RACE PROPER
Each RallySprint competing driver will have a minimum of four (4) special stages per round. Any driver who registers the best accumulated time of the day in any class will be declared the overall winner. Class winners will also be declared for the day, the drivers having established the best accumulated time in their entered class. A maximum of 40-50 entries only per event.

A special point will be given to the competing driver who sets the fastest leg time in each class. The top eight ( finishers will be given points corresponding to their ranking.


CLASSES

RP 12       1300 up to 1600 cc
RP 13       1601 cc to 2000 cc
RP 14       2001 and above
RP 15      4WD

Note :   Turbo Co-Efficient is 1.7


POINTS SYSTEM
In all cases, the following will be applied and will count towards the Overall Class Championship and Club Championship points.

1st place   ( 10 points)
2nd place   ( 8 points )
3rd place   ( 6 points )
4th place   ( 5 points )
5th place   ( 4 points )
6th place   ( 3 points )
7th place   ( 2 points )
8th place   ( 1 point )

*Special Award : 0.5 point ? for the competitor with the 
    fastest leg time per class


CLASSIFICATION
Only the top three drivers per class will be awarded in each event.

* Note: Awards/trophies will depend on the number of
participants per class:
   
3 drivers   -   best time winner only
   4 drivers   -   1st and 2nd place only
   5 drivers   -   1st, 2nd & 3rd place


CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS

The top eight ( drivers of the day will be awarded points that will count towards the Club Championship.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Helmet ? SNELL 2000/2005
Fire extinguisher - portable or hand held (minimum 10lbs.)
First Aid Kit - required on board
Safety Harness - 4-point seatbelt (minimum)
Roll cage ? optional but highly recommended
Battery clamps
EWD
Tow rope

Note:  Competing drivers and navigators in the
              rallyesprint are not allowed to wear
                      shorts, sandals, slippers and sleeveless shirts.
   

TIRES
The use of slick tires are prohibited.

FUEL
Fuel is open.

NAVIGATORS
Drivers must compete with a co-driver.

i heard one competitor saying that  yung  tarmac rally ay konti nalang dirt na at the road was scattered with sand or corners were slippery at ang daming bato.. In fact our car wasted a lot of time at nadulas sa isang t-left at umangat both front tires at di makaalis off the road at puro lupa. hehehe!

yan ang mahirap sa tarmac rally.. it's more challenging as u won't know if there are loose sand or gravel until you feel it too late.

try to join!
open to most cars without sun roof and no open top
rated seat belt and helmet required
also the the fire extinguisher , tow rope and med kit
pretty much same as the hillclimb rules
Last race was so fun for everyone around 25 entries!
next race is on march 8, subic again but different part of the naval mag.
and pls no noisy cars dw, suggest to put free flow muffler , some cars were given warning due to this! (us being 1 of them)
