Distributor problem ba? sobra palyado 94 glxi

Hi guys. Di ko makita sagot ko so gawa nalang ako bago topic. I took my 94 glxi sa shop(mitsu genuine parts and also do repairs)  to repair engine oil leaks. Palit timing belt and seal near cam shaft. After that palyado na sobra makita. Took it back there and they doublechecked the timing belt ok naman daw. They even showed it to me how it's done. Tama naman daw lahat. Pa MUT ko daw sa CASA to check wiring connection.

even took it to Mitsu service center for MUT test and checkup. MUT showed no problem. So Casa mechs went to basics daw and found out kelangan ko daw palitan distributor ko which costs 30k+. grabe mahal.... so pinul out ko na yung lancer and balik ko sa shop.

Andun parin sa shop ngayon ung auto, tinotrouble shoot nila. Inisa isa nalang ang basic parts to doublecheck. Illimination method pag palya parin ibalik yung lumang part. Now we're down to replacing the distributor na rin. They've tried replacing the coil inside with a new one pero palyado parin.

Try daw namin palitan yung Distributor assemble kaso what they found available for me costs 23K(brand new). Meron ba makukuha nun sa surplus and magkano po kaya yun? any suggestions is very much appreciated. Di ko na kasi alam gagawin ko  :(.

just making a wild guess here pero baka servo na ang problema?

kapag servo either bababa o tataas rpm, pero di siya palyado.
suggest to check valve tappet clearance, cylinder compression, ignition spark per pole, clean distributor cap of corrosions,
check distributor cap for cracks, check condition of ignition high tension cables, fuel injectors.

Thanks guys.. ok na yung Auto. for the sake of others who'll have same problem, distributor nga problem. ni-testdrive namin using my distributor, then Kabit namin yung bagong distributor(dali lang naman ikabit la pa ata 5 mins). Instant ayos na.. Sobra mahal lang talaga nung distributor. Onga pala, kinuha ko na yung 23k at least bago na. for safety narin and hope di na maulit kasi small bro ko gagamit nung lancer e.


for referrence, In my case tama yung sabi ni tip_tipid, may crack yung cap ng distributor. the mechanic tried to fix it using epoxy. palit ng motor sa loob pero ayaw parin. baka yung circuit daw sa cap ang problem.

Sa ngayon ok na naman, ganda na takbo po.

hmmm its really expensive 23k. surplus i think its roughly around 6 to 8k. we experienced the same problem with our sentra a long time ago.

mahal nga, 23k, kung mdyo modelo cguro auto ko, il go for 23k, pero kung more 10years old na, surplus n lng, bsta marunong ka tumingin ng sariwa pa, parang isda, hehe, dami mo pa sana sukli sa 23k, pero atleast ok na

what else did you experience besides palyado?
- kumakadyot kapag enage/disengage ng aircon compressor?
- hard starting?
- rough idle?
- sometimes lugging/sputtering?
