Hi guys , Has any body have the idea how to convert a 5 wire O2 sensor to 4 wire application , BTW my engine is D15B vtec-e since we want to save on fuel . We installed it into a Honda ESI, Unfortunately after a while the CEL keeps on showing , some mechanic tried to by pass it and found an equivalent of 48 based on the number of blinks of the CEL, I tried to search the surplusan in banawe, since im also very familiar there but find it hard to find, It is advisable to convert it to 4 wire since i am having a hard time finding a 5 wired one, can anybody recommend me to somebody who can do it? or does anybody know who has the 5 wired one?  Thanks In advance to all  :)

I don't understand what exactly you wanna do.  Why do you wanna turn a 5-wire O2 sensor into a 4-wire?  The 5 wire is a wideband while the 4-wire is narrowband, right?  They are different in voltage range.  How will you use them?  Do you have an A/F monitor or programable box?  What's the brand btw?

Im just trying to remove the check engine light that is turned on, my vtec cant engage due to that, Since 4 wire in the surplusan  is more common that is why after searching through banawe.correct me if im wrong.  I just want to evade the hassle of looking for it, since most surplusan shops always say that they only have 4 wired ones
