Maybe he also has a goatee, but I don't think he looks like Tony Stark nor does he drive like Tony Stark. Heard the last time he joined a fun run to Sierra Madre, he couldn't shake the mystery black SiR off the tail of his GT2.

If I were the owner of that GT2 which cost that much money,  I would'nt thrash it around like a dirt cheap SiR in Sierra Madre. That's suicide in that kind of road. Am sure if that was in a proper track, that SiR would be left for dead. The GT2 is even faster than the Carrera GT around the Nurburgring!!! Maybe that's the reason he is buying the R8-- to thrash around ! HAHAHA

I think you're right. There is no way even a modified SiR can keep up with a 911 GT2. I don't understand though how anyone in their right mind would consider the R8 a car to thrash around in.

The Mystery Black SiR is not modified. But the driver is.  ;D

Any way you look at it. Being tailgated in a GT2 by an SiR up the twisties says a lot about both drivers. Even in a proper track, my money would be on the SiR driven by "Skeletonman."  ;)

Why don't we get someone who knows these 2 guys and have him arrange a race on the track. That would be really fun to watch. So Mr. TurboAWD can bet his million bucks ($ or Php) on the mystery skeletonman SiR.

i bet on skeletonman also. if you can't shake off an sir its either the driver of the gt2 really sucks or the sir driver is really good.

its prolly takumi may deliveries pa sya kaya nagmamadali.  ;D

Not as rich as you Mr. GT2. I said I bet my money. Didn't say how much.  ::)

is the R8 on display at the PGA-Audi showroom in EDSA? I passed by there yesterday and saw mostly A4's and A6's.  ???

It's by the entrance where the New TT was on display... before. Seems that section means special.

OT: Any pics of ironman? Totally awesome that one of the first R8 owners would turn out to be Tony Stark.

Passed by PGA cars around 4pm sunday..a rich guy surrounded with bodyguards checkin the R8..VIP convoy waiting outside was an old model escalade & navigator with 2 new patrol safari as back up vehicles..all SUV's were black

Wow, an R8 to thrash around. Your friend must be a really rich man. Kudos to you and your friend, I wish I had that kind of money to be able to call an SIR "dirt cheap".

Mr. GT2, I think you're missing the point. It's not how much the car is, it's how fast the car can be driven. If a porsche can't out run a ''dirt cheap SIR' as you call it up a mountain road, then I think it's completely useless to own either GT2 or R8. I don't know mr. skeletonman, but Ill put my money on him if this interesting race happens.  :occasion14:

'THE GT2 is even faster than the Carrera GT around the Nurburgring". This is so true, saw it on you tube. My only question is... Was your friend the driver of both cars at the Nurburgring during the fast times?

BTW, I drive a 'dirt cheap SIR", and I'll be on the look out for your friend's GT2. I want to know if I'm as good a driver as my new hero... the skeletonman. peace. O0

Chill out guys.  The gt2 driver's not bad and the sir driver was probably very good but no way will an sir keep up with a 997gt2.   The reason the gt2 couldn't shake off the sir was there was an m5 in front of him slowing him down and overtaking on that road at that speed would have been too dangerous.  Now before somebody starts saying the m5 driver's bad they should try hustling that car on that road.

You may have a point....BUT.... I have been up that road many times on my scooter and there are many many SAFE places to pass(yes even supercars). Maybe the M5 driver was also a BETTER driver than the guy on the GT2.
You seem to have been there when this happened. Please do share the story with us.
Oh btw, no need to chill.... i just took a little offense on an SIR being called 'dirt cheap'.. No problems with it now, figured I'd rather  own a 'cheap SIR' and be able to drive it, than owning the expensive supercar like a porsche GT2 and not having a clue on what I'm doing. Peace. :cheer:

Just a thought..... I wonder what hondaclub phil. would say if they
saw this thread with their beloved SIR being referred too as 'dirt cheap'?
My guess would be hhhmmm..... Gt2 will now be a marked car anywhere it goes..... :sign13: :occasion14:
