Auto service training? Don Bosco Technical School has mechanical courses. TESDA also. If you have educational background already, why not try applying in some shops for apprenticeship.

I suggest you apply at Honda as a mechanic trainee.  GM for Velocity Motors used to work at Honda Kaloocan.  They give the best training and experience.  Then you can always work elsewhere or open your own shop.  Working at local shops don't really pay that well nor have the right training, IMO.

I was self-taught.  When I was in high school, I bought basic tools and a factory manual and worked on my own car to save on labor costs.  Ask help from other mechanics to learn but doing it yourself will teach you a lot.  If you're good with your hands and have some engineering education, it's fun and easy to do it yourself.  The more you practice, the better you get but what's important is to know the factory procedures and know how to choose the right tools.
