Good day again!

Has anyone of you used this brand, what group is this kind of oil? it's kinda expensive kasi, pero if it's worth it, I'm going to use it sa ride ko, wala ko masyado makita info sa net kundi ung magna industries, and ung synthetic nila type II daw, anu un? any info, guys... sabi kasi ng paps ko, ito nalang daw gamitin ko, actually tatlo brand pinagpipilian ko, motul, shell and redline. kung may data kayo nito or any info kung san pwede kumuha data, sasama ko sa list na pagpipilian ko. God bless and Peace!

I would choose Motul or Redline over Omega. It's not a widely used brand.

QuoteThere Are Four Different Types of Motor Oil Base Stocks

We know that basestock composition has a significant effect on the overall performance of motor oil. There are four different types of base stock used in the motor oil market today.
Group 1 - Conventional - Mineral oil derived from crude oil
Group 2 - Hydroprocessed - Highly refined mineral oil
Group 3 ? Severe hydroprocessed - Ultra refined mineral oil
Group 4 ? Full synthetics (chemically derived) - Chemically built Polyalphaolefins (PAO).

There is another category Group 5 - which is Ester based. Mobil 1 probably didn't include it because their oils don't contain it.

QuoteMotor oils are comprised of two parts, the base oil and additive package. The base oil comprises 80-90% of the oil by volume and the additives the remaining 10-20%. There are five groups of base oils: Group I, II, III, IV and V. Groups I to III are refined from crude oil containing tars, asphalts, waxes, aromatics and other "bad things". These crude oils are "cleaned up", to the extent possible, by hydrocracking, filtering and hydroisomerization. The group III base oils are the best of this genre. However, they still contain variably-sized molecules and some contaminants that can result in sludge, varnish and other deposits in your engine. Moreover, the quality of group III base oils vary greatly due to differences in the combination of feedstocks and refining methods utilized.

Synthetic oils are group IV Polyalphaolefins (PAOs) and group V (esters) base oils. Both pao-oil and ester oil are synthetic oils that are "man-made" synthesized uniform molecular structures that significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these oils relative to their petroleum oil competitors. More specifically, these synthetic oils have significantly lower coefficients of friction, thermal (heat) and pour-point (cold weather performance) properties than do petroleum oils. Finally, synthetic oils have no waxes, tars, or other contaminants to sludge or varnish your engine.

might as well use 300V on your diesel vehicle if you're gonna spend that much!

Might as well go for the Motul CRDi or 300V if you're willing to spend that much on Omega.

Motul CRDi (100% Synthetic) - 620php/liter
Motul 300V (100% Synthetic - Double Ester Technology) - 2300php/2liters

we use omega lubes and additives on our brandnew heavy equipments,we can say its a very good oil, based on our comparisons with other brands.on our old units,we only use castrol or petron lubes, but on cars i think its better to use other brands, hindi na sha worth it.

hi, di ba, it should be the other way around, you should use the minimum requirement of oil for under warranty equipment and use the best for the older unit to prolong it's service life... but it's just my opinion... ;)  and true, it's not worth it nga kung sa car nga gagamitin, maliban kung walang patayan ung makina 24/7.

good day...
