thanks dondie.
its a fun car to drive and has a rich motorsports history.
power wise, some owners have easily squeezed 300+whp from the stock internals, bigger pipings, tuning using an old evo turbine.
some swear that the 1st gen 63t could handle 500whp from the stock bottom end.... not bad for an '89-'91 old 2.0L engine.

Wow! how did you know I used to own an Eclipse? haha, you're good! ;D
Yes, I think that 1st Gen 4g63 has got lotsa potentials in it. Such a bulletproof motor seriously, my friends from Eclipseworx boost their engines to the limit and it still holds like a rock.

yes it is. the old school 1st gen 4g63t is built solid. a very strong engine out of the box and can hold lots of boost and whp.
evo 9 with turbo and mivec = the best 63t i think.

i would love owning a high revving well balanced n/a car especially after riding a friend's ae86 with a blacktop engine, a friend's itr dc2 with b18 and a friend's lancer coupe with a 2nd gen 4G92 mivec. a student of mine at dls-csb recently got a honda s2000. so nice!

do you have more pics of your s2000? looks really nice!

i have pics but i'm too shy to post 'em haha ;D

ah yes, but what's the difference between a Mivec 4g63t from a 4g63t from an evo 7? do they work like a 4g92 mivec? ridden both kinds of 4g63t and didn't really feel any difference, just the same awesomeness of brute torque! ;D

problem wit high revving engines is that you need to squeeze the orange real hard to get the juice, hahaha! I hate it when me and my turbo friends go on a convoy, kailangan nasa high RPM band palagi to always be prepared when their turboes kick in, nakakaawa tuloy pakinggan ang makina :P but a high revving turbo car would completely be mind blowing O0

who is your student in CSB? what's the color of his car? I'd love to meet other s2k owners as well, i only know a few ;)

memnon,

my student's name with the s2000 is neil s. have you heard of him? he used to drive a toyota yaris.

haha!
speaking of turbos,
i have a student, ralph t, who used to own a nice championship white dc2 itr.
i gave him a ride in my galant. he sold the itr and got himself an evo 8 on a c.f. diet.
(maybe i had something to do for him to get an evo)  ;D
