never tried any E10 products before but my friend told me his honda city's spark plugs got busted coz of shell's e10.  ??? so i'm guessing my vote goes for Petron E10 based on my experience wit their other products such as Blaze and coz of their "Xtra mile challenge".  ;D

my car is a 97 1.4 nissan sentra, i used both shell and petorn's E10, shell's octane rating is 93 while petron is 95, so there is a difference in responsiveness. as far as efficiency i can hit 9-10km/liter on petorn's e10.

I stayed away from shell because tumotope yung makina. or hirap mag accelerate. one thing i noticed (same with my nissan car club buddies) is that you'll notice a drop once you try petron's e10 for the first time but after a tank or 2 the engine gets used to the fuel and will thrive on it. its way cheaper as well.

@cescolar: just stick with Petron bro. The reason you're experiencing tope is because shell has a low octane and i'm guessing naka advance na timing mo ;)

stuck with Petron. Last sunday i went to subic from Pasig and back again to Sta. Rosa Laguna with full tank of Petron E10. I logged in a total of 425kms. My full tank is at 40 liters so i averaged 10kms/liter more or less  ;D

I prefer petron's e10 because its 95+ octane. I can drive economically because there's no tope.

Oh bugger! :( Just found out earlier while my cousin is filling up petrol that they changed the normal unleaded (95 octane) to Unleaded E10... Guess i have to go back to velocity again if it will cause me trouble. Good thing petrol prices is still low.. :)

Sorry but why didn't you mention Sea Oil E10?

Sea Oil was one of the first if not the first, to offer E10 in the local market.  It has been used in the PTCC for more than 2 years now.

Last Saturday, at the annual SVI 4-hour Enduro race, the Sea Oil Racing Team Honda Civic Lxi Group 3 car powered by Sea Oil E10 racing blend (for higher octane) won the overall trophy completing an event record of about 135 laps.  Our engine was a bone-stock D15 that is typical in local cars.

There is no dishonor in losing the race. There is

my same sentiments. .

I think not to many people were aware that indeed Seaoil and i think the're the 1st one who introduced E10. I still use it up to now but sometimes i use Petron as well as both have high octane ratings compared to Shell

i just noticed with some Seaoil gas stations, nauubusan sila ng E10 madalas :(
