It looks like the new 2.5 liter 2AR-FE is only for the North American market, at least for now.

The facelifted 2009 RAV4 was already launched here, but it still uses the same old 2.4 liter 2AZ-FE engine just like the facelifted 2009 JDM RAV4.

The old 1.8V has now been replaced by the 2.0V which is powered by a 141PS 2.0 liter 3ZR-FE engine.
The Corolla Altis 2.0V is priced at around P1.1M
