guys is there any solution to prevent battery acid corrosion from eating up some engine parts,engine bay wall,chassis? battery acid leaked  due to  faulty alternator.

constant washing of the engine bay.or kahit dun lang sa area affected until maayos mo yung real problem.

another option is to change the car battery to a gel type.

^^ as he said, used a sealed type.

To neutralize the existing acid though, just pour some baking soda before rinsing off.
