bro, tanong ko lang po, what are your plans for your sound set-up? coz, if you intend na yan lang head unit and speakers, ok na. the speaker you mentioned above ( 6x9 po yan, di seps ) pang rear-fill mo then install a good quality coax speakers for your front stage. if you want a bit of flavor to your set-up, install seps sa front. your pioneer head unit is sufficient enough to power your 4 speakers. the 6x9s at the back would provide you with enough bass ( if you're not expecting a subwoofer boom hehehe)..but if you intend a more complicated set-up ( amps, subs, etc ) dont get the 6x9 speakers..hope this helps

Thanks for the info bro!

Cguro mag seps and coax na lang muna ako, i called C3 Audio and ok naman sa budget yung JBL seps and coax nila, yun na lang muna then pag may budget na ulit bili na rin ako ng amps and sub.  nabasa ko kse 2 amps... 1 for front and rear speakers tas yung isa sa sub... ok na kaya to for SQ setup or nde ko na kelangan mag amp and sub pag SQ setup? thanks again.

bro, ang JBL separates lang ang kunin mo to complement your 6x9s at the back. if you want to upgrade later on, you can initially get one 4-channel amp. the two channels to power your front separates then bridge the the other 2 channels to drive your subwoofer. your rear speakers would still be powered by the head unit, anyway rear fill ito, supplementary lang, vital ang front stage. especially sa direction mo na SQ. just make sure you get good quality and good sounding separates. hope this helps.

Thanks a lot bro!

Medyo malinaw na... buti na lang sa saturday pa ko punta sa Banawe.  I'll be getting JBL seps then yung 6x9...
Next pay day amp and sub naman... so yung 6x9 HU pa rin bahala sa kanya... hehehe buti na lang matyaga kang sagutin questions ko, thanks ulit bro. pag may tanong pa ko post lang ulit ako. :) hehehe

no problem bro! hope i can help you with my little inputs hehehe

anyway, my current set-up is a pioneer head unit ( 2050MP model lang ) powering 2 coax up front and 2 6x9s at the back, puro lightning audio ang speakers...so far enjoy na rin ako..although i've tried 2 set-ups before which were more complicated..ironically, im happy with my current set-up!!! ..once kasi you get bitten by the car audio bug, its the start of a never ending story..parang cellfone, upgade ka ng upgrade..di ka makuntento..just keep in mind na ang bottom line mag enjoy and happy ka sa set-up mo..wag magpaapekto sa sabi ng iba..been there, done that..by the way bro, im here in cebu...

bro, if you're planning to really upgrade your set-up in the future, my opinion is dont get the 6x9s...get a pair of good coax for the rear, then separates up front..coz later on, when you add additional amps and subwoofers, ang 6x9 ang "mangugulo" sa tunog ng set-up mo..coz ang bass nya somewhat booming..and it "distorts" the bass of the subwoofer...because for me, kung ang goal ay SQ, dapat defined ang different freqs..highs, lows, and mid...so aside from the diff speakers for diff freqs ( tweeter, mids, sub ) it also has to be placed in the correct location so as to achieve the correct sound stage from the ear point of the driver or passenger..

Or kung level up lang sa stock speakers, pwede na seps and 6x9 3 way speakers. :)

GT5652 (Coax)                    - PhP 1500.00
GTO607C (Seps)                - PhP 3700.00

bro, kumusta tunog ng set-up mo? adjust mo lang  fader sa head unit mo, give more emphasis sa front speakers, para di "matabunan" sa tunog ng subwoofer ang separates..anyway, none directional ang bass sound..im sure your powered sub has a gain and freq control, adjust it to your taste...adjust mo lang na di masyado "stiff" ang bass nya...

DIGGZ

by the way bro, anong kotse mo? i've tried using an 8-inch sub woofer before, isang kicker comp dual voice coil...i was limited to this size sa woofer because i was constrained by the available space..i installed it sa likod ng rear seatback ng '96 hilux..i just made sure na we we're able to meet at least the minimum box volume required by the woofer to squeeze out its potential..kicker amp din pina-drive ko...ok naman cya, considering the small interior of the pick-up...basta pang SQ lang, di boom2 or SPL...ang 8-inch medyo "stiff" lang talaga ang bass coz of the smaller surface area compared to 10 or 12 inch woofers...adjust ka lang sa gain, freq, and sa subwoofer level..i believe your head unit has that feature..

tamaraw fx bro, medyo ayaw ko lang mawalan ng space for passengers sa likod.  kse minsan gamit ng barkada and family.  so naghanap lang ako ng kashang sub inbetween the middle seat and dun sa 2 seats sa back.  ok naman yung tunog, and i'm happy with the results.  nung alang sub parang kulang... kaya i decided to get na yung sub as well, nakita ko rin yung hinahanap kong clarity sa sound as well as sa konteng bayo na pampakumpleto. :) hehehe thanks sa info, kung nde syo bka hangang 6x9 lang speakers ko. :)
