given na yun! malakas talaga ang navarra!  ;)   pero ang Ranger 3.0, may chance siguro sa drag race!  ::)

Foton is a chinese brand, and the Foton Blizzard (the pickup they're selling locally) is essentially a recycled Isuzu Fuego.  :evil5:

Although I timed them on different occassions, the Ranger 3.0 5AT is slightly quicker in acceleration than the Navarra 2.5 6MT. Wider power band, better spread of torque. Though the extra top-end hp of the Navara might figure more at high speeds... besides... most AT trucks are speed-limited to 180-185 km/h.

well for my opinion. these trucks have different personalities.

STRDA 3.2 MT can reach 180km/hr above based on my experience. SAfE on high speed, check the moose test. but i think it can only do mild rough works. bec of lack of powerful torque at lower RPM.

NAVARRA= the fastest among all =). this pick is chasing me around 160 km/hr. navarra is very closed at my tail going to ilocos.

hi lux= its not safe, but beautiful to use on rough duties.

NAVARRA= I just bought 1 last may and it's terrible on fuel consumption 7-8 kms per liter city drive, as if i'm not driving a CRDi, and has an uphill disorder the temp gauge goes up that's why I sold it to my cousin for only 1M

HILUX= ok naman my uncle bought a hilux 2009 model ok siya has a big difference from the previous hilux. when it comes to offroad ok rin pati rin sa highway. I drove it once going to pangasinan ok ang ride di mo ramdam na tumatakbo ng 100km/hr.

DMAX= tried it last year I sold it bargain pangit ang ride lalo na sa likod and it has a weak engine 140HP- what the F*** parang hindi brand new.

STRADA= I'll stick with this one this is my final truck, I'm happy with it kahit na di kasing tulin nung NAVARRA at least matipid kasing tipid ng HILUX. sa ride para ring HILUX but stronger engine.

My opinion:

Last Choice: Isuzu DMax - I don't like the ride. Doesn't feel at par with the others on this list.

4th Choice: Mitsubishi Strada - I don't know if it's just me but it feels like nakapatong ka lang sa ibabaw while driving it. Medyo matagtag rin. The stock tires look skinny. But replacing these with wider ones make it look real good.

3rd Choice: Ford Ranger - I like this. I think it has the most value for money if you'd like to buy a pickup for its main purpose - for transporting heavy load, and going offroad, where it already has an LSD from the factory.

2nd Choice: Toyota Hilux - If you have more cash to spare, and want to look good and all macho, get the Hilux. It's a Toyota, so you're confident about reliability and future saleability.

1st Choice: Nissan Navara - In terms of power, handling, and comfort, this has the most car-like feel amongst all the pickup on this list. It's a joy to drive on a daily basis, and isn't afraid to go offroad. Though I think the Hilux looks better on the outside, it's the overall feel from the inside that makes this the winner. Besides, the inside is where you'll spend most of your time anyway. Plus there way to many Hiluxes out there that it's harder to stand out. To make it look as good as the Hilux, just lift it a little and put in 33 inch tires, and you'll feel macho all the way.  ;D
