Mysterious Tire...

Right front tire's flat every morning.

I've already brought it to 4 vulcanizing shops. Got the same "scratch-the-back-of-the-head" reactions from the attendants as they didn't find anything unusual about the tire. One even spent half an hour closely examining it. Nothing.

Mysterious? Or would anyone have an explanation?

It's probably air escaping out from the metal casting of the wheel.

Shouldn't any form of "air leak" be revealed once the whole thing is submerged in water?

Depends, most of the time they would be looking at the tire for leaks instead of the wheel itself.

Did they check the tire valve?

As far as I know, they went really detailed in their inspection. And I was there looking at it too. Like I've mentioned above, one attendant from one of the 4 shops I visited took half an hour examining the tire/wheel, very, very slowly turning it while dipped in water.

I believe so. With the tire under water, the attendants tried bending the valve up, down and from side to side, let air out by pushing down the pin, and also moved the pin in different directions. No leaks. Nothing unusual at all.

are you parked in a closed garage or on the street? somebody must have been letting the air out of the tire.

My car's normally just out in the street so I used to think this was the case. I parked the car inside our closed garage for 3 straight days, and things weren't any better.

If the air was not let out intentioanlly, obviously there is a leak. those 4 vulcanizing shops must have missed it.
if the tire is not punctured and the valve is fine, nasa mounting na yan or sa rim na, possble na may crack lalu na kung allow wheels.

I'll try switching tires on that same rim once I get my car back. I'll keep you posted. Thanks!!  :)

probably its a small pinhole. afaik, air doesn't leak on this pinhole specially on right pressure, but when the pressure lowers down and your tire cools down while at park, then leak starts. try looking for air bubbles at low pressure.

hey good day! same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago... sumakit ang ulo at hde ako makatulog.....
