shell helix for diesel vs rimula x

on my isuzu xwind engine, i first used the shell helix diesel engine oil which caused no problem on the engine. however, on my second oil change, i switched to rimula-x, well not because it is cheaper but per specs wise, it has higher rating and approval (CH-4/CH vs CF, ACEA E5/E7 vs none). do you thing this oil would be better for my engine?

on the other note, would you recommend elf oils? my friend highly recommends this one. TIA.
