Lancer '97 ECU

how can i remove the car's ecu (mitsu lancer 97) and where is it located? my car was submerged in water, 2 feet above the car's roof to be precise... :-[...i have not given it the proper maintenance after the flood, though the car is running now. I just blow dried  every electrical piece I can find in the car.

Underneath the dashboard. passenger side it's mounted to the upper kickplate area.

Thank you for your advice reg ECU location....does the lancer 97/pizza pie run on unleaded or leaded gasoline?
