1.) What will you use it for?  Coilovers = racing, shocks and springs = street/everyday
2.) How low do you wanna go? Coilovers = as low as you want (disregarding of road conditions), shocks and springs = fairly low height
3.) How much is your budget?

It will depend on how or where will you use the car. Coilovers are a bit pricy. But if budget is not a concern, go for it. They are adjustable in heigth, camber and damping.

You'll definitely compromise comfort since coilovers are stiff since it is designed for track use. Expect a stiffer ride since you have 18' inch rims.

There are coilovers that are streetable like Tein Super Street. It will cost you 70k to 80k, brand new, including installation. But if you want a more streetable suspension, you can buy the type flex or mono flex which will cost you 80k to 150k.

Otherwise, go for lowering springs if comfort is a big concern.

Thank you for the replies. Really appreciate it. I'm looking for comfort in my ride. I will go for lowering springs.  Any recommended mechanic shops and brand of springs/shocks.

3. Kilometer Two (KM2) - if you are near Palanan, Makati area near Hypermart Finladia St.

as for brand, go with Tein Springs. ;D now since comfort is a big concern, you can get the soft or medium springs.

I think so.

Attorney,

How much po damage sa Tein springs??

Accord GTR

Automatic?  I would just go with Koni yellow adjustable shocks or Bilstein sport shocks and leave the springs alone.  It's not a track car so why spend on coil-overs?  The Koni or Bilsteins have variable spring seat mounts so you can lower it by an inch if you want.

There is no dishonor in losing the race. There is

You can also try h&r lowering springs.  After installation, the ride was close to stock.
