if it's for your 210 benz then you need one with the star adaptor. the generic obdII readers will not work.

Try calling Stage 1 Motorworks at 4168222 or 4255088 and look for Gilbert. I saw his scanner. It comes with adaptors for most brands. I specifically saw a Benz and BMW adaptor. He used the scanner on a W210 E55 AMG last year. You can bring your W210 to him for a demo of the scanner. Tell him Vince of Bigberts referred you.

Will a connected obd-II diagnostics dongle void a car's warranty?  Are all modern cars sold here in the philippines compatible with it? http://blog.caranddriver.com/obd-no-way-automatic-is-the-do-it-all-connected-diagnostic-device-of-the-future/

If you're splicing the wires then yah that will/might void the warranty. If its just connected, I don't see why it will void coz all it does is read the codes. Unless, you're planning on flashing... All modern cars have a port you could hook up a device to. Some mfr differ though, I know vw, Audi, etc cars you need to use a vagcom cable. Not sure with mb if they use a special cable or connector. You should look into scangauge if you're planning on purchasing one just to read codes. You could mount it in your dash and get realtime readings of different things while driving.

Thanks, aid03. This plug has built in Bluetooth so you can get real time readings to your iPhone via its free iPhone app and also save the info afterwards

I didn't really read it. Lol I thought you just wanted to read codes or pressure and stuff while driving. That's a pretty neat device though
