The Ishneakey 2010 Thread

Guys , as you all know, Im in the us right now and prior to leaving, I got my international license. Got it thru AAP ;p worth it for safety reasons and as well, there are free towing provisions throughout the validity.

As for the apexi RSM, I read from earlier posts that they are hard to find in Manila. Best bet is eBay :p Im getting mine before I leave for Manila if i still have budget left. Hehe. It's around 250usd with shipping to Manila. Can't purchase yet cause I still have one left trip to ny. Haha. Can't afford getting low with funds prior to ny.

With the gsensor, should be around 300++ :p hope I can afford to get one pa by then.

Btw, just purchased my technotoytuning cam gears and lightened pulley last Monday. Got to talk to the shop owner. He came out in best motoring when the drift king and crew went to the USA for the us togue hot version. It's in YouTube. He has the hachirocku with the s2k engine. they should arrive here by tomorrow. Can't wait to install them :p hehe

a little heads up on the following RWYB dates.

according to a reliable source there will be mainly two RWYB events for this year. Namely:
1. RWYB Extreme
2. RWYB (the traditional event)

There will be a RWYB event every month of this year, alternating between Extreme and the ordinary one. So round 1 for RWYB was this month, May 1. Next month (June) it will be RWYB Extreme, then on July RWYB ulit.

so far round 1 for RWYB Extreme is on June 6
round 2 for RWYB is July 4.

RWYB Extreme is open to everyone, even those that hold professional racing license. Brackets for this RWYB event are faster, so expect the level of competition to be higher.


hopefully we can see more corolla's on track. last sunday mas marami mga coronas compared to the AE's.

just a heads up, SIR is open on weekdays as well and track rental per car i believe is 1.5 and to reserve the whole track exclusively for a sole group is still 15k. just let me know if you guys wanna do a ishneakey track day.

Funny ive never been to subic. Maybe this year we can pay SIR a visit. We went to BRC twice last year naman.

^^^ thanks thanks :p the rsm is not sure pa though. After my ny trip and funds will still allow, I'll get it. Hehe. Just talked to the seller and he is just waiting for my order signal to ship to me here at Michigan. Good prices indeed. US Always have cheaper electronics. 

Danny: the pix of chix are kinda bawal as of now. My gf is here with me in the us. Hahaha. Patay!!! :p

guys tanong naman. ano ba meron sa B16 resonator bakit maganda sya ilagay as part of the exhaust for BT? since 2" lang yung reso, i am assuming it would provide low end torque, somewhat... pero can a 2" ordinary reso from obet provide the same? or better to have same inlet size as rest of the pipe if ordinary reso lang ang gagamitin? i'm just being practical, kaya i still want to have some torque while i can pero not the stock BT exhaust all throughout para di masyado sakal.

reason why SIR resonator is a popular choice because it's CHEAP and it provides decent performance. it's made by honda, and not by a local muffler shop.. plus it's still cheaper than a brand new locally made muffler from galvanized iron na binuff lang. yun nga lang, you have to ask around. you might get lucky nga sa fremuff or mufflerland. my bro got an SIR reso for 1.5k from mufflerland, under the table deal.

performance-wise, it's pretty good, just put it closer to the secondary piping as to avoid any bottlenecks. you want your exhaust to go from smaller to bigger. not small, big, small big. i used an EG6 resonator on my ST before, i loved it i think the reso is more or less the same with local SIR's.

anyway, im still looking for one for you i might get one as well. haha
