what if i'm using fully synthetic 20w50 motor oil for my car, and suddenly the oil level falls below minimum.
to bring back the oil to the normal level, should i add fully synthetic 10w40 or mineral 20w50? assuming there are no other types available (kunwari sa gas station).

It would be better to add the same type of oil. If it's not available and your car is really lacking in oil then go for the viscosity that is most similar to what you are using.

As much as possible, use the same type and brand of oil if your oil falls below minimum level.  Different brands of different oil companies, even if they have the same viscosity, have different formulations.  They have different formulations of the different oil additives mixed with the oil, so there is a possibility that the oil that you will be adding will have a cancelling effect on certain characteristics of your old oil.
