guys i need you opinion on what pick up to buy. my choices are Strada,Ranger,D-max,Navara.

which has the best resale value? thanks in advance!

The Strada is pretty cheap and great features are offered even at the base model. No doubt that we're seeing lots of strada's on the road recently.
Like what others say, the strada offers a superb car-like ride feeling, I haven't tested/driven this yet but with lots of owners claiming that it really is true, then I think I wouldn't have to prove it otherwise. The bed is pretty fair for it's size, not bad for hauling stuff.

Aftermarket parts won't be much of a problem since it's quite plentiful in the market already. Bang for the buck pick-up, but with lots of 2010 owners too complaining about it's faulty actuator problems, do you think it is still worth it ?  ;D

Isuzu D-Max. Reliable. Pretty slow for it's displacement. Ugly. Need I say more ?

Nissan Navara. The price is pretty hefty though you won't be regretting owning one since it's incredibly fast for it's size. The pick-up bed is large enough, larger than the Mitsubishi Strada, really. Ride is pretty fair, the Strada is better though, again like what others are saying. I dunno if the maintenance is cheaper than the Mitsubishi Strada since Mitsubishi is known to have a high maintenance cost.

Ford Ranger. Cheap too, for it's price. Haven't read any negative effects about it, yet. But, I think it's worth enough to consider and since Ford is known to be built tough.  ;D

thank you sir! i think ford ranger is the best pick-up

ive driven a 6speed m/t nissan navarra all i can is wow!!!

its faster than my a/t mazda3 2.0 on straights plus side is that the base engine is the same as the high end unit. so upgrading the engine wont be a problem

if you want a pickup with a car-like ride and interior, I'd get the Strada. but if you want the best in power and load-carrying ability, I'd get the Navarra.

btw, amongst your choices, I think the Strada and the D-Max would have the best resale values. (a Toyota Hilux would be tops if it were included in your list!  :evil5:)

and one more thing, I've heard that the previous generations of the Ranger had a punishing ride. I don't know about the current Ranger though.  ::)

sir ive already seen some current gen strada and dmax on 2nd hand market already , unlike the nissan navarra i havent seen one on the 2nd hand market YET, so im pretty sure nissan's pick-up is slightly ahead in terms of resale value compared to those two.

mga sir in terms of emission nmn, ano pnakamausok na diesel jan? i really like the ranger but after reading your comments, ngisip ako kung strada na lng.. thanks po ulet!

The DMax in its current mold is already 2nd generation with a different engine.  The first generation was sold between 2004 and 2007.
The current Strada has also some changes but mainly cosmetic. It was first introduced in 2006.
The Navarra was introduced in 2007.

There is no single best pickup. Its like a woman--some features make you more excited---and would greatly influence your  choice.

IMO, Toyota Hilux and the Isuzu DMax would offer the best resale value in the long term.

my family owns a 2000 ford ranger. clocked in 160k km in the odometer and still runs pretty darn good even with the mods (body lift, change rims). we've hauled a lot of stuff in that truck for the past 10 years including bikes, motorcycles, corn, eggs, chowking podiums etc. now that's what you call built ford tough.
holy crap! what was that? :D

jkfjkf

i have fortuner kc kaya ayoko ng hilux. d ako satisfied sa performance ng toyota

for me ok tlga ung ranger kaso ung resale value nya bka mababa mashado.

thanks guys!

i'd go for strada i think comfort is one of the 1st thing to consider in buying, lets say all can do hauling because they were design to do that kasi nga dba pickups, and all naman is reliable syempre kilalang kilala na natin ito mga hapon. experience ko lang din kasi i been to long trips and some cars, SUV's eh hindi comfortable knowing passenger kana so isa sa malaking factor ang comfort ng passenger lalong lalo na driver.

2nd dont know about navarra pero ang strada eh euro 2 complaint  na ata  isa rin ito dapat i-consider eco-friendlyand newer engine design and technology
pick the one w/ bigger engine displacement 3.2 vs 2.5 eventhough w/ 6 speed ay kakapusin parin sa hauling. sabi nga no replacement for displacement.

mas maganda sana kung magbasa ka muna, 2.5 liter lang ang navarra pero hp and torque wise lamang pa rin 4x4 navarra.

mikbik

no offense bro. eh pickup hindi mo naman pangkakarera yan eh lalo na kung plano mo  i-drag race yan 2.5 strada vs. 2.5 navarra hands down Navarra pero consider 3.2 over 2.5L engine i'd go for 3.2L.

pero dami rin factors LSD, 6 gear, leather, interior color etc.... basta importante that pickup serves it purpose.

When youre looking for this better get the Navara.

1. Best Horsepower and Torque ( hauling )
2. 8 Cross member frame ( durability )
3. Largest Cargo Bed in its class.

that said, I think this pick-up gets my vote. Hindi puro "Pa pogi lang"
