Engine Swap Inquiry (SR20DE)

Hi Guys!

My B14 Sentra is currently undergoing for an engine swap (GA16DNE Matic Tranny to SR20DE Mnual Tranny) and I was wondering what are the things included in an "engine swap package" being offered by most autoshops?

Engine mount/bracket fabrication/modification?
Engine detail (kumbaga eh, lilinisin yong makina at hood bago isalpak)?
Change oil, sparkplugs, belts, and hoses?
Suspension "re-install" (since yong axle ay gagamitin sa bagong engine)?
Electrical rewiring (engine harness, ignition, gauges)?
Basic, or engine runing?
Aircon stuff?


What if one of the engine component was found busted, does replacing it includes in the package or is it considered "out-of-coverage" issue?


Hoping to hear from you guys who have actually done a similar swap (or from any "car brand").

  Well basically it depends sa usapan nyo between you and the shop if what's inclusive on the amount your gonna pay. But basically, they include axles, mounts, harness, and ecu. And don't do bracket modifications on engine supports, it's supposed to be bolt ons, but this time just using bigger engine mounts instead.

You should have tried talking to Street Specs Banawe. They're good on engine swaps. I suggest you swap your GA w/ the SR20VE if n.a is your thing, but if you wanna go for serious power there's always SR20DET and SR20VET.

have sr20 de lang on my b14 sentra lupit... how much more if  neo vvl ang ilagay
was really impress with the power it brings..

take note my 1st car is honda...

hands down nissan gets my vote...

Wow!! 15k?!  Can you bro PM me this shop that does this transplant for that amount only. Have some friends considering a SR swap as well.

Like I said inquire to Street Specs Banawe. They should take care of you and your car. Good guys, good knowledge, good service.  :thumbsup: By the way, you might wanna take a look at what the Japs call "Nissan Double Vtec" aka SR20VE first.  :evil5:
