You're right t2erns..
If oil still comes out, check your oil level and make sure it is not overfilled. If the discharge is accompanied by smoke, it could be a start of the condition known as 'blow by' which is an engine mechanical failure that may lead to expensive repairs if not addressed immediately. Consult an experienced mechanic.

the was just top overhauled about 2 mounths ago..so i think the engine is in good shape..im not really that goo in automotive..may i know where is pcv located in my 2e engine?tnx

t2erns

not familiar with your engine, but pcv general location is; it is plugged in to the valve cover and with the other end of the valve connected by a hose to the intake manifold vacuum

Did they check the cylinders and had the rings replaced? If by changing the PCV valve solves the problem, then ok. If not, go back to the top overhauling procedures your mechanic followed.

sometimes you dont have to change, sometimes they are just clogged. Just remove the valve and spray/soak with carburetor cleaner.

mine is really busted , rubber got brittled..so i have no choice but to replace it. Just pull it off and your good.
