Hello folks,

I'm considering buying either an NF210 or DF210 for my Sentra Grandeur. Currently, I'm waiting for Mr. Speedyfix to reply on my inquiry on how much it would cost.

Now, I would like to know what shocks would be compatible for these springs? Would my OEM shocks suffice? I'm on a tight budget (hehehe), if there are cheaper alternatives please let me know. I don't want to cut my springs as I've heard that it will degrade the car's suspension.

Appreciate all the help!  :occasion14: cheers!

The tanabe NF210 is better for your stock shocks. The DF210 is lower and a bit more harsh. The DF210 also makes shock play less therefore giving you a bouncier ride (well that's what I experienced with my civic).  I think NFs gives you a 1.5" drop or maybe less. The DF on the other hand gives you a 2" drop.

The NF210 gives you a very close to stock ride. If you are lowering your car just for porma I suggest the NF210s... better for daily driven cars.

Hey,

Thanks for the feedback,

After searching high and low in Banawe, sad to say that there are no more NF210s , DF210s and GF210s for my car model.  :crybaby2:

The good news is, I found H&R sport springs! woohoo. :applause: Not sure about the drop, it could be 1.5 though, before I could put in 6 fingers (vertical) now it's almost 2 fingers.

Handling is nice, no rubbing on the chassis or wheel well yet, you wont notice the stiffness unless you're conscious about it, feels almost like stock if driver is not aware of the springs.  ;D

Hi! Suggestion lang sir. I don't know if this will help but since you lowered your car, use gas type shock absorbers. :)

@czn030,

Yup, the stock shocks were already gas shocks but had to replace them as they were already deteriorating.

Salamat boss.
