Nissan GTR rocks! Even the legendary Nissan GTR Hakosuka back in the 80's dominates the track, well, at least this one in a quarter mile drag.

I guess they ran what they could get together at the time.  It wasn't meant to be that serious and cars of different classes were raced side-by-side.  The was also no ZR1 or Dodge Viper...

Nevertheless...  It was still a cool thing to do and hard to duplicate.

yup! both ZR1 and ACR were missing in action.

i don't think the veyron's presence would make any difference. remember top gear's drag race between the veyron and the mclaren f1? the veyron was clearly defeated with the quarter mile range. it only kicked in after the 400 meter barier was breached. the veyron was built for landspeed record runs but not quarter mile times.

it just reality that godzilla reigns supreme.

A new Turbo S which has been clocked to do high-10s in the quarter would have won.  However, just to get those 11 cars together must have been a chore and, more so, to have an available venue for a side-by-side race.
