Motorcycle lane at Commonwealth. I totally agree 100% sa motorcycle lane, but why sa gitna? Hmmm, I just can't get it. Also, the law says that light vehicles like cars can also use the motorcycle lane?  :dontknow:  Pinagisipan ba to? And no motorcycle lane sa flyover, meaning ba bawal bikes sa flyover?  Any comments guys?

The plastic barriers in the middle of the road are serious road hazards for me especially at night. Aren't the blue road strips enough to indicate its the motorcycle lane?

You're right, and they are also planning to place an 8-inch high concrete divider between the bus lane and the motorcycle lane! @#%$!! Talk about safety. Concrete barriers, plastic barriers (on the middle of the road), concrete dividers, pink fences, what will they think of next!

motorcycle lanes are a good idea if our roads were designed to have it. the widths of our road right now were measured with only 4-wheeled vehicles in mind. so where will you put the motorcycle lane there? this will just cause more confusion.

I also agree with this. But putting plastic barriers would not help especially at night. Not all motorists driving along Commonwealth are familiar with the road.

Bicycle riders are also demanding for bike lanes.  ;D  We have bike lanes in Marikina but no motorcycle lanes.

i passed by macapagal highway last sunday night, saw the motorcycle lane on the right most lane, ginawang parking ng mga customers ng mga restos...late na rin yun, so i guess wala nang manghuhuli...saan dadaan mga motor?

Same problem at Blue Ridge Katipunan. Akala mo meron aksidente, kainan pala. Pasaway din mga parking boys dyan.

You dear sir, speak the truth! I would totally lobby for each and every local government to require their establishments to always provide parking spaces proportionate to the people capacity of their resto if they are not inside a mall.

that can be partially attained, but totally banning roadside parking on main roads and busy alternate roads can be attained with corresponding fines on drivers parking and waiting on the subject road to be imposed by the local government unit who has jurisdiction. Hopefully, the establishment owner does not run or influence the local government. sad to say, the establishments normally has backers upstairs.

Sometimes the local government themselves are the violators. Take a look at the many barangay halls in Quezon City, the official barangay vehicles as well the personal vehicles of the officials and staff themselves park on the side of the road.

i am in favor to have motorcycle lanes in our streets para hindi singit ng singit ang mga naka-motorcycle, its very risky and cause of traffice. it will also secure the motorcycle drivers from accidents.
