Magkano po usually ang cost ng pag lagay ng foil sa kotse diyan sa pinas? I saw ung foilacar but by the looks pa lang nung shop parang mahal. Dito kasi sa Saudi common lang ang pa foil.

May mga cheaper alternative. Meron iba China-made films ang gamit, kaso di ata tumatagal.

I would invest in foil-a-car, they use genuine imported materials plus installation is done carefully in a enclosed airconditioned room. Unlike others, sa labas lang where exposed sa dust.

Anybody here have their cars foiled/wrapped? Is there any paperwork needed once you change the color of your car? or is the "foil" considered just an accessory?

Our delivery vans are wrapped with stickers including the cabs. You cannot anymore see the original white color but no additional paperwork were done. I don't know if its the same with private cars.

I guess di pa pinapansin yan coz the authorities are busy with other things.

Dj

Called them up out of curiosity and the one who answered the phone told me that they just give their clients some sort of certificate for you to show the authorities if ever they question your registration papers.

I just don't know how long will this be tolerated by the government. :dontknow:

I guess as long as a car hasn't been stolen and wrapped with a different color and driven or sold, there won't be any issues.

or wrapped, used in a crime, and unwrapped. Authorities will be mislead as to what color the car was.

autolover

there's a shop in Banawe that does this.
From pictures, it looks like okay naman ang gawa. Don't know lang kung tatagal.
I asked them how long gagawin. Around 1 week daw for full wrap. And price ranges from 30-45k

3M also entered the scene recently: http://www.autoindustriya.com/auto-industry-news/3m-car-wraps-to-be-featured-in-manila-auto-salon.html

They were offering 60k+ for a D-segment(Camry, Accord, etc) vehicle during the Manila Auto Salon and that was already on 50% discount.

Yes, if I remember it correctly, it's not that far from what foil-a-car is offering.
