What do you mean long range? Range for the remote? I wouldn't really recommend something like that. If your remote accidentally gets triggered while you're 100m away, someone can literally drive away with your car and all you'll be left with is smoke and dust. Unless you're Usain Bolt.

Long range remote is not recommended. Usually when you say "long range", it's 500 meters or more.   100 meters as you say, and I assume is line of sight meaning no obstructions, is normal to most alarms and is not really considered "long range".
