What's the difference between a 1.3L engine 4 speed and 5 speed?

I've been curious about this engine specs... some car manufacturers release a 1300 engine... 4 speed and 5 speed. So technically, how does it differ from one another? Acceleration? Speed? Ratio?...

Gear ratios. There are even lots of differences between four speeds of different models with different manufacturers and also 5 speeds of different models/manufacturers.
