Hi Guys,

I am thinking of getting either a Trail Blazer or a Sta. Fe 4x2 (similar price range). I read good reviews for both cars but have not come across anyone commenting on the cost to maintain either vehicle. Any one have actual experience maintaining the 4x4 Trail Blazer or 4x2 Sta Fe? Please let me know.

Thanks!

Yan din pinagpilian ko last month. Ended up with Santa Fe on the merit that this has electronic variable geometry turbo versus the trailblazer's fixed geometry turbo. Also I read online somewhere that Chevrolet has one of the most expensive services and parts.

Trailblazer drives like a boat, while Santa Fe drives like an agile compact car.

With Hyundai, they allow you to bring your own replacement parts. But some branches charge an additional 10% if you don't buy from their casa.

Thanks for the feedback Sir. I just visited a Hyundai dealer and am placing an order for one. Read a lot of good things about the Sta. Fe. Plus it seems to be features loaded. A really nice vehicle.

I went for the manual tranny. Better fuel consumption control. But if you have a bit more in your budget, go for the mid-range auto tranny. It has tons more features than the manual.

Thanks for the advice sir. I took your advice and placed an order for the A/T 4x2. Hope I get it soon. Been reading a lot of good things about the SF. Cheers!
