What do you think of Metro Manila roads?

all of us have the same opinion aight? the roads here in metro manila sucks! Big time! kahit na anong ingat ang gawin natin sa kotse natin, kung yung mga daan naman na palagi nating dinadaanan eh puro lubak naman, masisira at masisira din yung mga kotse natin.

Solution? Sir, mag 4x4 kayo! (Obvious na taga off-roading section ako no) and I tell you, hindi nyo na iintindihin yung mga sira sirang kalye. Mababawasan ang pagmumura niyo ng mga taga-DPWH at City Hall. Hahaba buhay niyo kasi mababawasan kunsumisyon nyo.

BTW Quartermiler magkamukha tayo ah!

ok. we all agree that the road conditions here in manila totally suck. some of the peeps here also made it quite clear that our government steals the taxes that we pay.

but still, the big question remains:

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

why are we letting these government officials get away with it? have we gotten so used to it, that we're just accepting it as a normal part of life here in the philippines? why do we tolerate this?

IMHO, it's kinda naive to believe that the weather is the main cause of the poor road conditions here in our country.. because if the funds of the DPWH were put to "proper" use our road conditions will, no doubt, be better than what it is today.

why? according sa teacher ko (again, it's not my opinion) it's because it's already part of our culture as Filipinos. kagaya ng sinabi nya madaming ways kung saan na-legalize ang graft and corruption. example daw yun pork barrell. it will probably take a hunderd years ore more to change our attitudes but even though we won't see that day of change, it shouldn't prevent us from doing our part.

grabe pala ang daan sa MM ngayon. i just went there last weekend, at ang lalalim ng lubak. they're even disguised under that puddle of mud and water.
