sticking LTO sticker on windshield

I recently replaced my windshield on my PAJ.. was wondering if its VERY important that i stick my LTO sticker on my windshield...

i want to install a 1pc tint for the windshield..but i'm worried that once i stick the LTO sticker on the tint, i'll have a difficult time removing it when i register next year, and the year after that...

for those who dont stick their stickers, have you had any trouble with cops? what would you recommend?

ako since nagka-auto ako dito never ako naglagay ng sticker sa harap kasi always may tint ako. kapag wala kang tint, lagay ka kasi sisitahin ka talaga ng pulis.

i've been pulled over a couple of times pero parati hindi napapansin ng pulis na wala akong lto sticker sa windshield. isang beses pa nga may dringking driving check point near banawe sa isang late night last year. they didn't even look at it.

and besides, pag nagtanong sila kung bakit di ko kinabit, sasabihin ko nakakabit dati but nagpatint ako recently and they have to take it out or else it'll be stuck there.

i want my windshield sticker free as much as possible, keep it clean.

Ako din hindi ko kinakabit yung sticker sa windshield kasi may tint ako sa front. Never pa naman ako nasita

AFAIK mas important yung stickers sa plate number.

ako what i do is i put/stick the lto sticker on a thin clear platic sheet... parang yun platic cover sa books/notebooks etc. then i cut it up and use transparent tape to stick it to the windshield... dali lang tanggalin. hehehe. may 3m tint din ako sa harap. i do that with all the stickers... sa work, sa subd. atleat you pay only for 1 sticker tas lipat mo sa ibang kotse hehehe.

i guess i dont really have to stick it.. at least most of my village and club stickers are external...so i won't have to worry about messing up my tint..

i was even thinking, kahit dikit ko lang on acetate, para its visible, but at least i wont damage my tint..

actually yun friend ko nasita padin kasi wala siyang tint and yun LTO sticker naka-laminate lang. bawal daw yun sabi ng mga pulis/mmda kasi pwede daw i-lipat sa ibang kotse. afterall, the sticker is laminated and parng card na naka-suksuk sa windshield.

i had my full windshield tinted a few years ago... ang ginawa namin is tinanggal yung current lto sticker... placed the tint then dinikit sa likod ng tint... at least nakadikit pa din... tapos subsequent lto stickers..linagay na lang sa likod nung tint... nakadikit pa din

Required talaga siya according to LTO rules. Pero ang pangit tignan eh.

Ako dati walang tint and wala din sticker nakakabit, never ako nasita.

unport hassle yan, kasi dadami yun stickers sa windshield, dapat tuloy palitan yun tint kung gusto mo magtanggal ng stickers.

i have front tints, but i laminate the sticker, and tape it to the front with transparent tape. it looks like its stuck on the windshield not taped

try that.

i think they only make you sita if its just placed on the dashboard. i remember havin a friend who bought a smuggled e320 benz, didnt pay taxes and just swapped laminated cards on the dashboard to make it "legal". He never got caught, but maybe thats cause it was a benz.

yup, latest lang kelengan...tanggalin mo lang yung iba...laminate pa rin ako...kung may EB club, tago lang sa glove compartment

Pag nahuli, sabihin mo nalang na kapapalit mo lang ng windshield, yung sticker nakakabit dun sa luma, nabasag kasi.

I don't have a tint and I never stick the front windshield sticker, I've never been harassed by the cops in any way whatsoever. But I always make sure that the license plate stickers are there...

During the entire 8-year run of my previous car (mid-size sedan), I never placed the sticker on my untinted windshield.  The cops never noticed it naman.  

I'm doing the same in my new car as well and the windshield is fully-tinted.
