ask ko lang if anyone tried powder coating the mags????

This is the best way to have your wheels painted. AFAIK, you can have them painted sa Rota, they do custom powdercoating at 1500 per piece if I'm not mistaken.

There's another place that does powdercoating in Caloocan, I forgot where though.

But I a previous set of wheels I had, painted by Alex Car Restoration and the paint job is still intact up to now when I see the wheels every now and then. Mga 3 years na siguro yun.

thanks sa reply. I guess hindi pa popular dito yung powder coating ng mags, I saw lang sa isang car mags sa states that its the best way to restore yung mags. how much does it costs you to have your car painted by alex car restoration?

hey, nice forum you got here. kailangan i-powder coat muna ang mags for your base coating. acrylic paints alone just wont do the job madali lang cyang matanggal. try mo sa republic powder coating in sucat paranaque only 300 per piece.

yes, sila na ang magtanggal nung lumang paint ng mags. the painting itself will just last for 1 day. kaso matagal lang ung sanding and preparation. dnt know the name ng street basta lapit lang siya sa SM sucat. call 829-0615 or 829-0623 look for Danny.

u can try scraping the paint muna by buying stripsol and prep it urself para mabilis na yung coating nila in sucat.saves u time.stripsol is cheap but dangerous in handling sa skin,nakakpaso

strip sol applyit with a paint brush ingat lang sa balat, ussually three hours or so para gumana pero beter kungisang araw, then scrape off with an ordinary palette knife voila!

No they don't. Generally, powder coating lang ginagawa nila. they neither repair your mags.
