Most Quiet Car?

what is the most quiet car  locally available?
in terms of cabin noise and all; Like would you hear a horn honking at you from behind?

in terms of wind noise, engine noise, outside traffic noise and tire noise which is the most quiet you can find?

lets say between an audi a6 , an e class benz and a 5 series bmw which would be the most quiet? how quiet is it? can you relate it to terms a simple man who has not experienced such marvelous cars can imagine?

ive heard that the ls430 by lexus is the most quiet car in the world, too bad they arent sold locally, but i have seen a few and they do look nice and low key.

what are the most quiet cars like?

The most quiet car I ever had is an LS400.  It really is quiet even at brisk highway speeds.  Sometimes it gets boring.  It lulls you to sleep almost.  Thank goodness for the Nakamichi sound system.  At idling it is so quiet that I have made the mistake of turning the ignition again because I wasn't paying attention to the tachometer.  I miss that car.  If the LS430 is even better, and I'm pretty sure it is, that thing must be as quiet as a tomb.

thats pretty quiet. In my experience the 3 series is as quiet as the nissan cefiro. well when i compared them in highlands, so wasnt really able to notice tire noise since it was a smooth road.

so what car would give you the hardest time hearing other cars honkin at you?

i remember one time i was following a friend in his 5 series, was tryin to make him stop by honking like a mad man and i was right behind him in traffic around mignight with no cars around... it didnt work! and all he had on was his radio but it wasnt on loud!

yup! it is pretty quiet inside a lexus es300.

Naki-sakay na ako sa mga sasakyan na ibinanggit mo, at Lexus pa rin ang pinaka-tahimik. At ang sarap din ng suspension, nice and cushy, yet it feels as solid as a Mercedes.

On the other end of the spectrum, the BMW has the most tight and aggressive feel.

hmm... lexus ba?? my aunt bought a 2nd hand ES300 coach edition... tahimik ba ito? i havnt ridden on it yet... anyway nice topic... i like quiet cars. i hate the sound of those harurot cars pero supot naman sa power.

sa mga cars na nasakyan ko na, the benz E320 na ata may pinaka tahimik na interior.

pero kung sa makina, the nissan cefiro produces the least noise and vibration. di lang nga ganun kakapal ang insulation compared sa mga european luxury sedans.
