I remember dati medyo sumikat din ang Macrom seps ryt? meron pa ata stock si Alec that he is trying to dispose? I know its old but kung bnew ok naman dba? what your opinion sa high end macrom?

WaZ

2way or 3way? how much are they selling ?

i've heard 3ways seps of macroms and they soud really good , btw audio logic just won 2nd place in the recent carwars under sq category using this set of seps.  :)

Raymond

Ah me Macroms pa pala si Logic Audio, that shop used to distribute Macroms when they're still starting. Dunno now.

Anyways, OK na OK ang Macrom's. If I'm correct Morel din gumawa ng drivers niyan eh, so you're in the league of Dyns and DLS.

Billabong

basta get the original macroms. may mga macroms na gawa ng dai-chi AFAIK.

Kung Macrom by Morel, ok na ok yan.  Saw the Macroms of Logic.  Very much like Dyns and UR6.

Billabong

natanong ko dati sa audio logic kung saan gawa yun macroms nila, sabi dai-chi daw.

ngeee. ka presyo ba rin ng dai-ichi o mas mahal?

vti97

Hehe, what I saw was the Macrom by Morel seps of Fred.  It was Made in England.  That's what he's using in his RAV4.

Billabong

ah ic... so baka iba yun sa rav4 niya. yun tinanong ko eh yun binebenta nila.

WaZ

integra line of speakers are coax  :)

afaik Macrom was the first to use 3" voice coils on their speakers..and that was several years ago..also first to use propylene cones if i'm not mistaken  8)

p.s. wala na halos naiwan kay alec na macrom, the last time i called there was a couple of tweeters (57.13 and 57.16s), couple of 8" integra speakers, and a couple of subwoofers..

I believe DynAudio was ahead of Macrom in using 3" voice coils, as well as Morel, who designed the original high-end line of Macrom speakers.  I'm not too sure if DynAudio was the first to do so, but I wouldn't bet on it.  I also wouldn't bet on Macrom to be the first to employ polypropelene cones for their drivers.
