Automekanika charges basically the same rate as Autoplus for baseline dyno. Its kinda hard to get to that area for me, so I'd really rather go to Autoplus instead. If you live nearby there, you might find it convenient there.

But then, what if you need tuning, Automekanika won't be of help would they? That is unless you bring your tuner along.

RS_Sprint

Just came from Autoplus today and dynoed my car.

Raymond saw the fuel map on the monitor and he said there was no need for dyno-tuning anymore since the curve was pretty good already. Mato Tan was also there and he said the same. Hence, they did not charge me anymore for a dyno-tuning session, only for a baseline run. :)

Raymond just advised me to change my plugs and I did, which gave me an impressive amount of gains since my old plugs were probably fouled already. Car feels smoother now. :)

My point? They (Raymond and co.) were honest enough to tell me there was no need for the fuel map to be altered with my SAFC. Autoplus ould have easily made slightly more money on me that time but they did not. :)
He even told me to remove the S-AFC nalang so as not to risk someone fiddling with it in the car (always a risk with these things) and it being useless anyway for my car's current state of tune.

In fact, I was questioning Raymond about the fuel map being A-OK, so he called over Mato Tan to confirm what he said.

Nakatipid din ako ng 2,500 Pesos. :)

Hope this lays to rest questions about Autoplus' honesty and credibility with regard to tuning. :)

Hahahaha, junior...funny. Youd probably surpised. anyways, they do have...not a chasis dyno but they have a dyno . Used to work for them "kid" for about two years. I pretty much know they do.
look here "hustler", someone, "SPENCER" told me that they never had a DYNO, ever.

nukee

well buti ka pa nakapagpadyno ka na?

Ako i'm still planning to have my car dyno, kahit baseline pa muna.

RS_Sprint

Not much compared to the other evos. 243 wheel HP and 218 lbs/ft of torque also @ the wheels boosting 1.1 bar.

Main difference lang from before was erL Motorwerx intercooller and intake piping. Peak gain of 28 wheel HP although I lost about 13 lbs/ ft of torque. :(

Pwede na, al I was after was that the car would not be running too rich such that I'd suffer bore wash. :)

AFAIK Mato's Civic did 500 WHP. :)

Correction. Just 3. hehe...

243 @ 1.1 bar is great.  Your torque is really fat.

sayang naman the race tom got cancelled. di na nila ma-time!!! >:(

gulo talaga ng sched ng races! 500 should be enought to set the record... autoplus did it with only 400+ hp in their hatch diba?

ang sarap siguro sumakay sa oto na yan, 500whp is too much for a hatch.

OT: I hope we get better organizers for legal drag racers, d kasi nagiimprove ang systema ng legal drag racing dito sa atin... IMHO...
